Late January pa lang, we’re talking about na if what are the plans for our Valentine’s date (me and Win). He suggested to have a dinner with my family na lang sa bahay, since we both love cooking. So I agreed with his idea. I told mom and my siblings about our plans for the heart’s day and they also agreed. 

Early February, I started to make my gift for him. I can’t think of anything that will tickle his heart. Since matagal na nya kong kinukulit about our picture frame, yun na yung naisip ko. 

Ayfort! Isa-isa kong minighty bond yung wooden beads. Sakit sa batok. Pero, I know it’ll be worth it naman.

At ito ang kinalabasan nya. Syempre dapat pareho kami. Pero mas maganda yung kanya. I grabbed some Scrabble wooden pieces with our initials. (W.P)

Oh diba! Mas bongga yung kanya. :p

I finished this two picture frames 3 days before heart’s day. I wrote a love letter for him nung mismong Valentine’s day na. So, eto sya. 

I used old hard construction paper. Para medyo vintage ang peg!

Inutusan ko yung younger sister ko na ipa-print ako ng photo. Eh, ang pangit ng outcome. Pero keri na rin. So, eto sya na may picture na.

Enough with the gifts muna. Feb. 13 pa lang, we went to the grocery to buy yung mga gagamitin for the 14th. We went to Balanga City. Gowra sa Monterey para mamili ng brisket.

Eh di kinabukasan, 14th, woke up early to defrost the meat.

After ko i-defrost, I marinated it with salt and pepper and of course with love. :) 5 in the afternoon, I started to cook. I fry first the fried chicken.

While frying the chicken, biglang dumating si lovey. Pinuntahan ako sa kitchen with his surprises.

Eh di syempre, nahinto ang aking pagluluto. Picture muna with my gifts. :)

I’m so overwhelmed with his gifts. I feel so special. He never fails to treat me like a princess. Since the day that he’s courting me (2 years), until now na kami na. So, it’s my turn naman to give him my gifts. 

Eto lang yung super matagal ko nang naririnig sakanya.

Akala mo naman nanalo ng kung anong award! LOL

Go back to work cook. They’re busy on the potatoes for Mojo’s.

Eh, wacky daw eh!

Eh syempre, wala nang picture taking habang kumakain. Super busog! Totally cheat day! Cheat sa rice, softdrinks, fats. Haha. 

After the dinner, nangtrip lang yung magaling naming ate. Kunyari daw, kawawa sya kasi sya lang walang partner this heart’s day saming siblings.

So, that’s how we celebrate heart’s day. Thrifty, foods were prepared with love and most specially, we celebrate it with our loved ones! Happy heart’s day, don’t be hater people. La Vita Bella! <3
